First, with <a href=\"http:\/\/frederickplaylist.com\/2015\/04\/16\/world-premiere-kabob-o-tajs-your-place\/\">Kabob-O-Taj<\/a>,\u00a0then with <a href=\"http:\/\/frederickplaylist.com\/2015\/06\/29\/world-premiere-seaknuckles-shake-shake-shake\/\">Seaknuckle<\/a>, and now with Big Hoax. Check out the band&#8217;s latest clip for their brand new track, &#8220;Old Maid.&#8221; The group, headed by Luke Alexander, is fixin&#8217; to release their first-ever full-length on June 25, complete with all the requisite release party shenanigans at Metro Gallery in Baltimore. As for the video itself, well, take it away, Luke &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The video was filmed in a reclaimed church saved from demolition in the town of Oxford, on Maryland&#8217;s Eastern Shore,&#8221; he told us. &#8220;The video proudly features legendary bluegrass bassist Mark Schatz (Nickel Creek, Bela Fleck, Tony Rice, Sierra Hull), who also plays on two of the album&#8217;s tracks. We&#8217;ve been working on the record for more than a year\u00a0now without any breaks or pauses. It was tracked with the help of Shea Springer at Sweetfoot Studios on the Eastern Shore. It&#8217;s currently being mixed by two-time Grammy Award-winning studio Airshow Mastering in Takoma Park. It&#8217;s a 13-song concept album narrating character change when going from pursuing one&#8217;s desires to the pursuit of someone else&#8217;s.
