South By Southwest.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/frederickplaylist.com\/tag\/diary\/\">Ten diary entries<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/colinpadraic\">Ten videos<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/frederickplaylist.com\/tag\/on-the-road\/\">Three stories<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/frederickplaylist.com\/tag\/qa\/\">Four Q&amp;As<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/frederickplaylist.com\/2016\/03\/15\/need-know-fridays-open-mic\/\">One open mic post<\/a>. And who says Frederick Playlist doesn&#8217;t stick on that grind? It&#8217;s going to be a busy weekend here in Frederick. First, we are reopening the doors to 200 East for the year (yay!) tomorrow with a free &#8211; free! &#8211; all ages, open mic night. It will be hosted by Todd C. Walker and you should love him. With every centimeter of your heart. Sign-ups start at six. Play will begin at seven. All the amenities will be there. You won&#8217;t want to sit it out. And then, once you&#8217;re done with your performances, you can head up the block to the Weinberg to check out Tall Heights (above) and the rest of the first night of the Americana Festival. After that, then, you can head to the official afterparty at Cafe Nola. But that&#8217;s not all! You can rinse, repeat, and do the exact same thing on Saturday night (sans the 200 East open mic night thing, of course): Weinberg. Nola. Americana. Music. Fun. Love. Happiness. The things that make life go &#8217;round. Elsewhere this weekend &#8230; oh, that&#8217;s right. It&#8217;s St. Patrick&#8217;s Day! So, quit reading this, and head out and celebrate! Bushwaller&#8217;s seems to have music going all day, so that&#8217;s probably a good place to start. From there, Frederick is your oyster. Either way, we&#8217;ll see you tomorrow night, right?
