Welp. We’ve got a whole ton of great stuff on tap this weekend. To get it started off right, Alive @ Five will be going down (which isn’t always a guarantee, the way the weather has been this summer) and it will feature the bluesy, rocky sounds of Paul Pfau, so you probably don’t want to miss that, if you happen to be wandering around downtown in an hour or so. Elsewhere, we have what looks to be a great show at Cafe Nola Saturday night as Ghost Hotel, Blind Man Leading and Seagulls take the stage. We also have our good friends Phil Kominski and Pete Goodwin making some sweet, scrumptious sounds in Frederick this weekend, the former appearing at The Cellar Door on Saturday, while the latter is set to play the early set at Bentz Street on Friday. It looks to be a beautiful weekend, so no matter what your plans are, there’s no real reason to keep the next three days of your life devoid of all music. Check back at the beginning of next week to win a pair of tickets to next Saturday’s Flying Dog show featuring Lucero. There’s a whole rock-load of awesome-tastic stuff coming up in the coming weeks (and a brand new music series we’re getting ready to launch as well).
