Well, it’s been a week. That’s for sure. We may have been light in the posts through the last four days, but rest assured that there’s a lot left to come as September rolls through like the unstoppable train that it is. Like one more movie night. And one more Flying Dog show. And a boatload of giveaways. And In The Streets. And so, so, so much more. This weekend, though, we have First Saturday, which makes the town just a little more musical anyway. Yet in addition to that, we have Alive @ Five, which is about to kick off down along the creek. We have JAMIE LYNN SPEARS, of all people (and please note the all-caps). We have Joe’s Truck Stop (above) performing at Cafe Nola. We have our good friends Pete Goodwin and Todd C. Walker playing at various places throughout the next three days. We have another First Thursdays installment going down over in Shepherdstown at The Opera House. We have a reggae jam at The Cellar Door. And we have some fantastic New Orleans soul/funk/greatness coming to Cafe 611. You’ll want to check back here next week, friends.
