Today’s video features Steven Gellman running through one of Patty Griffin’s more notable songs, “Mary.” And why do we post this on Tuesday, December 2? Because on Saturday, December 6, Gellman will be at Beans In The Belfry (along with a few friends) to do Christmas songs. Or, well, at least he’ll be performing whatever this means: “Intensely sensitive and impressively intelligent, Steven Gellman will team up (with) talented Doug Poplin and Margaret Wolfe on cello and guitar to give us a warm wintery holiday concert by candlelight.” Biggest takeaway from that blurb: Aren’t we all intensely sensitive?
