Had the chance to catch up with Ryan from Heavy Lights last week and he got us hip to this pretty incredible show going down at Cafe Nola on Saturday. The way he described it was essentially as such: A whole bunch of musician friends get together, dress amazingly, take over Cafe Nola, and run through covers like Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It.” It’s a mess. It’s monstrous. It’s maniacal. And it’s marvelous. Above is a highlight reel of sorts for what’s in store this weekend, so carve out six minutes if you can. You won’t want to be square, friends.
