Word has it this will be their final performance before they go on hiatus. So, don’t miss it! Anyway. It’s good to be back on the Weekend Playlist grind. And by “good,” we mean, “holy mother of god, when will it stop snowing!” It’s a First Saturday, and the fine dudes in Signs Point East, for one, will be rocking and rolling a street corner in a couple days. Assuming they get out from under the snow, that is. And assuming the city doesn’t shut down until May. Outside of that, we have a light slate of shows going down this weekend, though that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be paying attention. Tonight’s open mic nights appear to still be on (but it’s only 1:30 in the afternoon as we type this). Something called Fuzzy Match will be at Isabella’s, and doesn’t that just sound adorable. Levi Stephens is coming back to Bushwallers on Saturday. Our good, old friend Phil Kominski will be acoustic-rocking The Cellar Door, and he’s always a bundle of fun. There’s Broken Rocker. The Amber Sands. Bishops. Strung Tight. The Unkut Band. 10 Feet Tall. And, of course, something called Power Project. Which sounds mighty powerful. We used this week to get our feet back on the ground, so expect a little more next week, as we get halfway into March(!) already. Remember to spring forward Sunday night.
