Well, it’s Friday The 13th. Again. So, there’s that. Saturday, though. Holy moly, there’s a ton going down in and around Frederick. Feels good, doesn’t it?! Kabob-O-Taj, they of recently-reviewed-here-fame (who are also in the above video – shout out to Rob for alerting us to it on Facebook earlier today!), will be rappin’ and rollin’ at Cafe Nola along with the great Jack Funk on Saturday night. There is the usual slate of open mics going down this evening all around town. (And speaking of “all around town” … how about that weather?!?!). The Honest Mistakes hope you don’t make one tomorrow night and miss their set at Nola. The Sound Of Sleat, whatever that sound may be, will be at Beans In The Belfry tomorrow night as well. And then there’s … and then there’s … and then there’s Bushwallers all day Saturday! Check it out, friends. Kegs and eggs. The music begins at 8 a.m. Yes. You read that correctly. 8. a.m. And it appears to go on all day. So, if you want to tell us that doesn’t sound like a fantastic time, then we will tell you that you’re a liar. It highlights the Weekend Before St. Paddy’s Day, and when you combine that with the craziness of it being a weekend that has a Friday with a 13 beside it … well goodness, gracious: Be ready to make some of your fondest mistakes over the next three days. You surely can’t sit the weekend out, then, right? Right.
