Well, well, well. We’d first like to thank all of the zero people who responded to our call for bands this week. Word up, guys! Anyway, this weekend has a hell of a line up of music in and around this area. It kicks off tonight with Rhiannon Giddens (above) at the Weinberg Center. Of all the shows the Weinberg has concocted this season, this is most likely the one you absolutely will not want to miss. And when you’re done allowing her to blow your mind, head down the street to Cafe Nola to check out Heavy Lights jamming on some ’90s tunes. Plus, hey: We’ll be there. So if you’ve ever wanted to punch us in the face, tonight will be the perfect opportunity. Elsewhere this weekend, Cafe 611 has a dyn-o-mite show featuring Cannabis Corpse, and you can pretty much be assured that you won’t walk out of that place in the same condition you walked in. Larry Keel is going to be releasing his new record, “Experienced,” tomorrow night over in Shepherdstown, and if you remember correctly … well, we reviewed that brand new record earlier this week. There’s Deadeye Stare. There’s DJ Two Teks. There’s the great Willie Barry and each one of his chaperones. There’s Husky Burnette. There’s Adrienne Smith. There’s Slam Dunk. There’s On The Bus.
