… Because volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 came last year. Duh.
Stitch Early. You know him. You love him. We followed him all around – and we mean all around – South By Southwest last week. He’s got a brand new EP set to float into the universe. And he’s decided to be gracious enough to float it into the universe via the 200 East Art Haus.
The day? Saturday. The time? Well, now this is important …
The doors are going to open at 4 p.m. Once you pay to get in the door, you will be signed up for a scavenger hunt that will take you all around Frederick. The scavenger hunt will kick off around 5 p.m. The first person to complete the scavenger hunt will receive millions upon millions of dollars worth of prizes!
OK. So, maybe that’s exaggerating things a little bit. But there will be a bag full of amazing things to take home. Stuff from Pitcrew. Stuff from JKW Beauty (a free makeup session!). You can find more on all the things that will be included in the scavenger-hunt-winning prize pack on the event’s Facebook event page. It will be neat. Promise.
Then, by the time you return to 200 East, a DJ set will be in full effect before Stitch Early – the man, the myth, the legend – will perform the brand new EP this event is celebrating, “The Great Compromise,” in full, in addition to some other old favorites. The set will also feature appearances from J Rose, E. Barnes and Andrew Bromhal of Silent Old Mtns. It’s going to be funky fresh, friends. It’s going to be funky fresh.
Also of note: The first 50 people through the door – and remember that doors open at 4 p.m. – will receive a free physical copy of “The Great Compromise.” Or, in other words, you’ll want to get there early. It will cost you 10 bucks to get through the door, and, because we are of the people and for the people, the event will be open to all ages.
Oh, and in addition to the beer and wine we typically make available, Pork Authority will be selling some radical food, too. No worries: We’ve got you covered.
So … see you Saturday afternoon, right?
