The second 200 East event of 2016 is set to go down Saturday as Stitch Early plans to release his brand new EP, “The Great Compromise.” We wrote everything you need to know about it earlier this week. We can put you down for stopping by, right? Good. Elsewhere this weekend, something called the Half Serious Rock Champions is going to invade Champion Billiards, and darn it if that doesn’t sound intriguing. Freekbass, who we once questioned and answered, will be returning to the Opera House stage over in Shepherdstown (also of note: Listen to The Local Playlist every Friday from 1 to 3 p.m.!). Willie Barry and all of his chaperones will be rocking and rolling the Beans In The Belfry Designated Music Space. Dapp is at Nola. Doug Alan Wilcox, who has to be one of the nicest people ever, is coming to Frederick Coffee Company. Prophets Of The Abstract Truth will be truthin’ it up at Ayse. And then, of course, Warden. We’ll be bopping around 200 East all day Saturday. We’ve already heard the EP and spoiler alert: You’ll love it! Supporting local hip-hop is good, man. Right? Please? Maybe? Hopefully?
