It also turns out that she did this amazing cover of “FourFiveSeconds,” the Kanye/Rihanna/McCartney collaboration that you – yes, you! – have probably already forgotten about by now. Anyway, yeah. Ruut. Elsewhere this weekend, we have a ton of different things going on in and around Frederick. Actually, really guys. We have a bunch of stuff going down. The Weinberg will be active, and it’s always a fun set of days when the Weinberg is active. We’re About 9 will be taking that stage tonight, and better yet – you can pay what you want! Then, tomorrow night (that’s Friday, for you day-nerds), Straight No Chaser will be Rocking and Rolling. Cafe Nola will host The Milestones, who we questioned-and-answered earlier this week. Even more interesting is Friday night at Nola, when Carsie Blanton is set to be there. And why is it so interesting? Because according to the World Wide Internet, she once played with Paul Simon. So, boom goes that dynamite. There’s So Low. There’s the Secondhand Ramblers. There’s our dear friends in Hard Swimmin’ Fish. There’s Sucker Punch. There’s the No Better Than U Band.
