Welp. T-minus four days until the saddest birthday ever. But you don’t care about that. All you care about is the music and the rawk (with a “w”). And this weekend, in addition to being absolutely beautiful (or at least so says pretty much everyone ever), will feature the music and the rawk (with a “w”). Cafe 611 is prepared to bring all the fun this evening with a five-spot of awesomeness led by Madball. It’s all-ages and it’s 7 p.m. That’s radical. Elsewhere, one of our favorite favorites, Fractal Cat (above), is heading to Cafe Nola Friday night, and if we weren’t too busy bumming out about bumming out, perhaps we would try (for the second time, even!) to see those dudes at The Nola. Bumper Jacksons, ye of recent Weinberg fame, will be over in Shepherdstown at the Opera House. And even though it’s not listed here, don’t forget about our next Jazz In The Vines installment at Big Cork Winery on Sunday. The Dirty Middle (with the fabulous Adrienne Smith leading things) will take the Designated Music Space at 2 p.m. Tickets include wine, friends. Tickets include wine. There’s the Del McCoury Band.
