Because “Jam” is the new “Fest.”
You may have noticed on our Facebook page yesterday that an event went live. I am contractually obligated to say nothing more about that fact. So, instead, what I will do is simply explain what we have going down next month.
A little while ago, the fabulous people at Milkhouse Brewery came to us with a fabulous idea: Hey, let’s have a festival. And now, on Saturday, Aug. 6, that festival is going to come to fruition out at their fabulous farm. The music? Check it out.
- Big Hoax
- Lilac Daze
- Jack Funk
- Cheshi
- The Milestones
Also, there will (most likely) be an acoustic tent that will house acoustic musicians throughout the day. So, that’s two(ish) stages, a fine summer day, and fabulous beer.
And still, that’s not all. The aforementioned fabulous people at Milkhouse Brewery have also offered to brew an actual Frederick Playlist beer. Crazy, right? We know. It will officially be known as the Frederick Playlist Grapefruit Pale Ale and it will be fabulous (which, if you can’t tell by now, is the word of the day). You’ll be able to drink said fabulous beer at this event and you’ll want to get at it quickly before it becomes the next Miller Lite and completely rules the world. Get in on the ground floor, people. Get in on the ground floor.
The fun will begin at noon and go until it feels like quitting (damn it). We’ll be back in a few weeks with an official itinerary, but for now, pre-sale tickets are only $10. That deal lasts until the 15th of this month. You can buy those tickets here. It’s secure. We promise.
Now feel free to return to your inevitably fabulous Hump Day.
