Oh, boy. So, as we noted earlier today over on the Facepage, we’ve been experiencing some minor traumas regarding this weekend’s Milkhouse Summer Jam out at Milkhouse Brewery. And by “minor traumas” we mean, “oh no, why is the world ending?!!?” Anyway, here’s how it’s ending up: The only thing that’s changing is the fact that …
… wait for it …
… wait for it …
The event is going to be free! That’s right. Free. And from what we understand, you can’t get much better than free. The schedule we posted a couple weeks ago is still the schedule by which we shall operate, and yes, in case you forgot, the uber-exclusive Frederick Playlist Grapefruit Pale Ale will indeed be available for all to smash. Refunds, for all the great people who were already kind enough to purchase a ticket, are currently in the process of being distributed.
To commemorate the event this weekend, we recently caught up with Nick from Jack Funk for the latest installment of our Frederick Playlist Presents … series. He performed two songs off the band’s EP, “Good For Your Soul.” The above performance is of “Freight Train,” and below these words, you can find an acoustic take on their “Sunshine.” For those wondering, we did these videos in the 200 East Art Haus.
Doors open at noon. It costs you not a thing to check it out. And considering how these bands are worth millions and millions of dollars to begin with, that’s one hell of a deal.
As always, a huge thank you goes out to Graham Cullen, who is a Video Master, as well as Sylvia Carignan. You can follow all of them on Twitter here and here. We love them equally and you should, too. Enjoy!
