Well, friends, Lost Keys have a lot riding on their EP release, which is set for tomorrow night (that’s Friday, for those keeping score) at Champion Billiards out there by the movie theater. If you have a pulse, you like music, you want to support some good people and you enjoy fun … well, this is for you. We reviewed their EP a couple months ago and here’s a hint: It’s great. Honestly. If you’re in search of something radical to do this weekend, it’s hard to think of a better option. Got all that? Good. Elsewhere … well, the tap room series at Flying Dog is getting back in full swing after taking a week off, and Ashli Cheshire, she of Cheshi fame, will be performing an array of acoustic fun. Cue the shameless DON’T FORGET THAT ONE WEEK FROM TONIGHT IS THE FREDERICK MUSIC SHOWCASE plug that such realities incite. She’ll be performing at it – with her band, of course – and they will be releasing their self-titled EP. So much fun. So much awesomeness. Also, Bencoolen, who we questioned and answered earlier this week, will be heading to Cafe Nola and that should be quite the show. Our old friend Doug Alan Wilcox will be bringing the hits to Elk Run Winery. There’s the Rumpke Mountain Boys. There’s Poetic Endurance. There’s The Reagan Years. There’s the fine young men in Hard Swimmin’ Fish. And then, of course, there’s Judge. Yes. Judge. Don’t forget about that last-minute Valentine’s Day shopping you know you have to do.
