Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Beastmaker. These fine men will be taking the Cafe 611 stage tonight as part of the Maryland Doom Fest pre-party festivities. As it goes, Maryland Doom Fest will indeed be going on pretty much every day for the next four days. If you dig Maryland and you dig doom, this is the option for you, friends. It should be a hell of a time. Just ask Weed Is Weed. Elsewhere this weekend, Rozwell Kid are going to hold one of their record release shows at the world-famous Slayground. You’ll want to check that out. Cheshi is going to offer up an acoustic performance Friday at Area 31. The Frederick Film and Music Festival is set to take off, with the “music” portion of the proceedings added for the first time this year. Click here for details on that. There’s also a jazz festival that’s going down at a winery. And shoot if that doesn’t sound fun. And, of course, there will be some pyramids to find Saturday night, but only if you look hard enough.
