With Cheshi taking the Sky Stage stage this weekend, we thought it’d be a great time to revisit our first-ever Frederick One Take session. Now, don’t get us wrong: DaMood did a One Take, too, and they’ll be alongside Cheshi Saturday evening, and we love them as well … but hey, man. There’s only space for one video. And Cheshi was first. So bam. Anyway. There’s some great stuff going on in and around Frederick this weekend, and, as it goes, it appears to be Festival Weekend (or something like that). There’s something called the Boondocks Festival over in Boonsboro and that has Shooter Jennings on its slate. There’s Oktoberfest, which has Fuzzy Match on its slate. Shoot. Even Sky Stage is getting in on the fun with Cheshi, DaMood and Time Columns. Oh, and don’t forget. Country on the Creek is back and it’s creekin’ its way through the evening tonight. Oh, and don’t forget (part 2): The Weinberg kicks off its season this weekend with a bunch of fun stuff. Don’t sleep. There’s some Milestones. There’s some open mics. There’s some Skribe.
