DaMood is going to headline the first-ever Frederick Friends Fest. That is set for Saturday at the Eagles Club and we wrote about the event extensively earlier today. It’s all for a good cause, friends. So … check it out. Please? Maybe? It’s coming together as a community for a greater good. And what’s better than that? Nothing. The answer is nothing. So, that’s all we’re going to say about that. Elsewhere this weekend … well, it’s the final weekend before Alive@Five kicks off, so worry not, five-o-clock music fans! Next week around this time, you’ll be able to rock and roll all through the creek. As for the next three days, though, we have a First Saturday, a Kentucky Derby and a Cinco De Mayo. We also have Dead Horses at the Weinberg. We have Anthony Hamilton in Charles Town. We have the Ampersand String Band at The Blue Side. We have Unlimited Saltiness at Red Shedman.
