A couple weeks ago, we began the Mash-Tun Music Series at Monocacy Brewing Company. The Dirty Middle played and it was awesomer than awesome. This Saturday, the series continues with Luna, who you can see in the video above. The fun begins at 7 p.m., friends, and it goes down … conveniently … right as the Maryland Craft Beer Festival ends. After-party, you say? After-party. Elsewhere this weekend … well, as far as we can tell, Alive @ Five is still on for this evening and Guys In Thin Ties plan to kick it off with a vengeance. Also, it’s nice to see that Cafe 611 is going to host something this weekend because it feels like it’s been forever since we’ve had a listing of theirs on this very page. Hayley Fahey is going to take The Blue Side stage, and The Blue Side stage is always a great place to be. Our old friends in Hard Swimmin’ Fish are headed to Big Cork, so maybe you ought to, too. Jeff Cosgrove is bringing his mixed bag of jazz to Beans In The Belfry tonight, and not only did we recently review his new album, but he’s also a Frederick Playlist podcast and “Frederick One Take” alum. The end of the beginning of May is gone, and you know what that means? It means that getting out your door shouldn’t be so hard anymore. Have a beer on us? Have a beer on us.
