We reviewed their latest album last week, so this week might be good time to check in with them. They always promise to bring it, so bring it, they will. Also of note this weekend … well, Alive @ Five finally returns! And it’s with Big Bad Juju! So, enjoy the weather and enjoy the music, friends. Speaking of enjoying weather and music, there’s a brand new festival coming to town Saturday at the Baker Park Bandshell and it’s called Park Jam. It’s free, and you can’t find a better price than free. Blue Heaven is heading to Guido’s to play with Young & Heartless and Sullen Brother, and that promises to rawk. Our Mash-Tun Music Series at Monocacy Brewing rolls along Saturday with Todd C. Walker and Empty Ecstasy. There’s also a jam-tastic jam going down Saturday night at Cafe Nola and if you want to see how all the bands in town work when they get together to play music … well, that appears to be the chance for which you’ve been waiting.
