Miss Lonelyheart is going to be taking the Cafe Nola Designated Music Space on Friday night with The Meer and this band. Mr. Andy Stout, who you can find as the lead singer here, is also the man behind a fun evening Saturday night at New Spire Arts as Cynthia Connolly will speak about her book, “Banned In DC.” It’s a punk rock kind of First Saturday weekend, friends. And there is no better thing than punk rock to celebrate the end of Daylight Savings Time, you know? Elsewhere this weekend, a super cool show is set to come to the Weinberg as the Portland Cello Project will perform the entirety of Radiohead’s “OK Computer,” and if that doesn’t blow your mind, we don’t know what will. The Dirty Middle, who may or may not be the subject of our next “Frederick One Take” installment, will be at Beans In The Belfry, and they always slay. She/They will be holding a night at Cafe Nola on Saturday and that also promises to be memorable. The Amish Outlaws are coming to town. They aren’t to be confused with Truly Outlandish, who will be at The Blue Side. And then there’s Kaia Kater, who is part of tonight’s Discovery Series at the Weinberg. The weather is warm, friends.
