Welcome to the final Weekend Playlist of 2018. We celebrated Christmas earlier today with a brand new Frederick One Take. It brought holiday cheer. We bring holiday cheer. We live for holiday cheer. And spreading some holiday cheer this weekend will be a slew of shows that promise to kick off the extended Christmas Set Of Days in grand fashion. DaMood, as you see above, will be performing at Cafe Nola Saturday night and that will be presented by the Velvet Lounge. If you can’t dance to them, you can’t know what fun is. Something called Violins Of Baltimore will be heading to Vini Culture, and that sounds fancy with a capital C and Y. There’s going to be a singalong at Milkhouse Brewery, so if you dig singing, you know where to go. A Not So Silent Night is coming to the Weinberg on Saturday, so prepare to not be silent. And then there’s The High And Wides, which kind of/sort of makes us chuckle for reasons we can’t explain. We’ll be back next week with our annual end-of-year list. Who will be No. 1?
