Because Hannan, along with One Blue Night, will be performing Saturday afternoon as part of the second-annual Frederick Craft Spirits Festival at the Frederick Fairgrounds. So, to drink or not to drink – that is the question. You can do plenty of that elsewhere this weekend, should you feel so inclined. “The Wall,” for instance, is going to be performed in its entirety at The Weinberg Center Friday night, and we all know that you don’t need no education. It’s a big weekend for The Dirty Middle, who will be at Beans In The Belfry Saturday night – the night after they perform at Guido’s alongside some really amazing bands … and then this one, too. There’s going to be a tribute to The Police and if you tell me that doesn’t sound rad, I’m going to tell you that you’re a liar. We’d also be remiss if we didn’t mention that if you happen to have some free time Friday night, you really ought to head down to D.C. to support Jay Berd as he opens for the legendary Black Star. Give him a high five for us if you see him. And then, of course, there’s Donegal Dan. No relation to Pennsylvania Pam. The Saddest Birthday Of Them All is over. Time to gear up for May, and … maybe … hopefully … possibly … better weather? Let’s hope so. Like the song says, friends, hug somebody.
