As long as the weather cooperates, Mr. Husband will be part of a pretty radical Yellow K Records showcase-type-situation at Sky Stage on Saturday night. You won’t want to miss that. But honestly. You won’t. And … oh, wait. Hey there – it’s good to be back! Anyway. Our friends in Hard Swimmin’ Fish will be bluesin’ it up at JoJo’s Saturday night and whenever they come to town, it’s a ton of fun. Alive @ Five has blues and a dad. Flying Dog has rock and a son. The Tomato Dodgers, who we have a very soft soft-spot for, will be taking the Cafe Nola stage on Saturday and that sure is something to see. Donnie Wood, who is a master at John Deere Letters, is hitting up The Blue Side. The Revivalists, who are fabulous, sold out the Flying Dog grounds Saturday night, but we’ll be there, handing out various paraphernalia that ought to make you smile. And Alexander Peters, who we loved at The Thing, will be heading out to Milkhouse to spread his blend of Americana awesomeness. August is nearly halfway done, and that’s a trip. Do something nice for somebody this weekend, friends. You won’t regret it.
