It looks like there will be a lot of rain today, but hey: It’s only 9 a.m. So, while the Downtown Frederick Partnership might very well cancel this evening’s Alive@Five, we thought we’d share this video of the band who is scheduled to play the event anyway. Here’s Moondog Medicine Show with an original tune, “Let My Man Be.” Summer isn’t over quite yet, friends. Celebrate as much tonight (weather permitting, of course), and then get ready for a ruckus In The Street weekend!

It’s the first Tuesday all summer that we won’t have music tonight (for free!) tonight along Carroll Creek. So, this is our sad face. To commemorate the good times, though, we thought we’d share this video we shot of the final Levitt Amp performance, which featured Hard Swimmin’ Fish, one week ago tonight. The crowd was amazing. The band was great. A fantastic time was had by all. We miss you, Levitt Amp. Please come back next year.

Here, they perform Paul Motian’s “Victoria” as part of the WAU Jazz Festival. The night kicks off at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20, but that gets you a glass of any wine you want. Bring a picnic.
