Why, hello June. And, of course, hello, Frederick’s Festival Of The Arts. That’s set to kick off tomorrow night and last through the weekend. It’s free. It’s along the creek. And it’s fabulous. The Crawdaddies, who you can see above, will be headlining the main stage Saturday night while some of us may have had something to do with the tiny side stage that for the first time ever will house music throughout the next three days. That’s right. Two stages. One ball of fun. Elsewhere this weekend, it appears as though Alive @ Five should be moving forward in its usual awesomeness tonight with Rachel B. It’s a First Saturday, which means there will be music, music and more music going on throughout all of downtown. Jack Funk, whose lead singer will be performing on said arts festival side stage, will be taking the Blue Side stage Friday night. Artomatic continues its great lineup of music tomorrow night with Luna and Austin & Olivia. And if you miss that, you’re just being mean. There’s Brulee. There’s Doug Alan Wilcox. There’s Half Serious Rock Champions. There’s Flow Tribe. And then, of course, there’s 5.5. Men. We’ll be looming around the festival’s tiny stage throughout all of Saturday afternoon. T-minus one week until The Thing commences all around Frederick and Old Indian says goodbye. We’ll see you there … right?
