For The Record Podcast Episode 6 – Artomatic
Episode six of the For The Record podcast brings Ashley Hoffman, Ryan Nicholson and Cassandra Mullinix, three of the people responsible for this year’s Artomatic@Frederick slate of live performances. That’s right, friends. For five weekends in this city, downtown will be taken over by a sort of local music-palooza as area bands gather to support the art event happening through September.
Plus … it’s free. All of it. Free. What more could you ask for?
In addition to talking about what goes into booking the bands for the festival, how everything is going to work and what these guys plan on doing in two years, when Artomatic comes back to Frederick, we also offer up three songs featuring artists slated to perform, including Nicholson’s band, Heavy Lights, Baltimore hip-hop artist Dylijens and local favorite, Old Indian.
